* No player is able to play in competitive matches until after their 6th birthday and cannot be registered with the RFU until they have reached 6. The club is happy to accept players younger than 6. If the player is in Year 1 and will be reaching their 6th birthday within the season, please complete both forms and the player will be entered onto the RFU system when they reach their 6th birthday. Players younger than Year 1 will be accepted at the discretion of the Under 16’s Head Coach.

New Players

New Player Packs are available from Team Managers and include full instructions and all forms required to register with the cub. In this pack you will find:

  • A RFU Registration Form (also available to download from the RFU website, see below). If you have never been a member of another club, please tick the ‘New Player’ box. If you have played for another club – please tick the ‘Player Transfer’ box and give details of the club in the relevant box.
  • A Club Player Data Collection Form – Please ensure this is correctly filled in. Not only do we maintain details in case of emergency, the information is also used to notify you of cancellations of games due to bad weather etc. – see below for a downloadable version.
  • Cheque required for £50 Minis or £55 Juniors payable to Towcestrians Rugby Club. Player’s name & age group on reverse of cheque.
  • 2 Passport side photos required. Players name & age group on reverse (any other sized photo will mean that your Registration application will be returned to you requesting the correct sized photos, hhis will delay registration and the ability to play in competitive matches).
  • Post* forms, cheque and photos to the Registrations Secretary. You will receive a receipt, as proof of payment, and a fixture booklet.
  • Registration cards will be given to Team Manager when available. Your registration card will be returned via your Team Manager unless you have posted your registration*. There is a second copy of the registration card which will be retained by the Team Manager.

Existing Players

  • Parent/Guardian to check Player Data Form – this will be issued to parents via either their Team Manager or from the Registration Desk in September – please check, update any incorrect information and sign the form.
  • Post* payment (£50 for minis and £55 for juniors) along with Player Data Form to the Registrations Secretary. Cheques made payable to Towcestrians Rugby Club. Players name & age group on the back.

* If you decide to post your registration forms, please include a SAE to enable your receipt, fixture booklet and Registration Card to be returned by post to you.

Family Discounts

A £5 discount is available for siblings of registered players.
