2009-10 Seasons Awards

We had our annual awards ceremony and Dads v Boys game last Sunday, and of course the Dads won the game!

Everybody has played well whenever they have been on the field this year, and we had some very good results across the year. But for a few very close games that we lost by a single try we could have had a lot more festival success, but will build on that next year.

The awards this year went to:

Player of the Season - awarded to Diggery Slee - for consistently hard and determined play all through the season

Players Player - awarded to Thomas Miller after all players had made their choices

Most Improved Player - awarded to Charlie Smith for a consistently good season and doing very well in a learning a new position

Certificates of Merit were also awarded to Harry Webb and Thomas Hunt, for their determined efforts in winning the ball in the loose, and to Ben Anderson and Gregor Parramore for their great improvements in their first full season.
