U14s get a taste of Twickenham Tows U14s travelled to The Stoop at Twickenham on Friday for a masterclass with World Cup winner Will Greenwood, former roomie of George Mayo.

Following their triumph in the Northampton Saints J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Cup, members of the victorious Towcestrians U14 Team recently enjoyed the opportunity to brush up their skills even further at the hands of England and British Lions Star Will Greenwood.

Members of the Tows team were the guests of the event sponsors, at the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series Final at Harlequins and as part of the event were put through their paces for an hour on the pitch at the Stoop by Will Greenwood.

Tows coach Bruce Benyon complemented the England and British Lions star on his work with the boys. “Will seemed to genuinely enjoy his time with the boys”, he said. “As he used to share a room at university with one of our club members, he has heard of our club, and certainly allowed the boys to show him what they could do. All of them thoroughly enjoyed the session; one of them said they enjoyed it nearly as much as beating our old rivals the Old Northamptonians in the final at Franklins Gardens back in May!”
