ON's - (A) - Won 34-24
Final Score: 34-24

An excellent mornings rugby and a good win for Towcester U13's. Because of the size of both squads we played 3 twenty minute sessions so that all players got good game time.

The first twenty minutes were very closely fought with ON's having the majority of the possession with Tows defending very well but struggling to clear their lines, and ON's scored the first try to go 5-0 ahead.

In the next 20 minutes Tows fought back very well now they were playing downhill and scored four tries. Two by Joe Winterburn and one each for Ollie Kilgallon and Josh Goodall, to make the score 20-5 to Tows.

The final session was much more open, and a great game for all the spectators to watch. ON's scored two tries and converted both to pull back to within a point, but then Joe Winterburn scored his hat-trick try which was converted by Solly Boyd to make the score 27-19. ONs responded well and scored another try but the conversion fell short and left the score 27-24. After a very tense and well contested final 5 minutes Tows drove the ball into the ON's 22 and after a great pick up by Harry Webb and some very good passing and offloading at close quarters the ball was moved wide to Josh Goodall who scores his second try of the afternoon. Solly Boyd added his second conversion to make the final score a 34-24 win for Towcester.

Well done to all the players on both sides it was an excellent game to watch.
