Bletchley (H) - Won 15-12
Final Score: 15-12

A good home win against Bletchley, with a squad bolstered to a full 15 players but some of the tows U12 squad, as many of the U13's were away at a cup game against Bedford.

The game started with the away team having most of the possession, and attacking through their forwards, and while Tows defended well they eventually conceded the first try to a forwards drive to make the score 0-5 to Bletchley.

Gradually the Tows players overcame their nervous start and put together some fine passing plays, but once again the Bletchley forwards drove the ball into the Tows defence and scored a second try, which was converted to make the score 0-12 at half time.

In the second half Tows really started to open up their game. Callum Renshaw received the ball on his own 22 and went on a fine jinking run to score in the corner, 5-12.

After more good play and some good driving and rucking by Tows, Callum crossed the try line again, this time from close range. 10-12.

Late in the game another good passing move set Toby Gruncell free and he touched down in the corner to make the score 15-12. The final few minutes saw both teams attacking and defending well but there was no further score, so it was a 15-12 win for Towcestrians.

A great mornings rugby and a fantastic effort form all the players, well done.
