Bicester (A) - Won 25-5
Final Score: 25-5

After a break of a few weeks over Xmas it was a good away win for the Towcestrians U13's against Bicester on Sunday. The game started with Bicester kicking off, Tows fielding the ball well and after a number of phases of play down the left side of the pitch, and a great break by George Butler, hooker Ollie Hill scored the first try of the game after a great supporting run.

Tows had much of the possession in the next 10 minutes and slowly pushed the ball into the Bicester half of the field. After a number of phases and good ball retention No.8 Ollie Kilgallon broke a couple of tackles with a strong run to0 score the second try for Tows.

Biscester then had a period where they dominated possession up until half time, but despite some strong running and good handling were unable to break the Towcester defence, so score at half-time was 10-0 to Towcestrians.

The second half started with pressure from Bicester but again once in possession Tows held the ball well and moved back down the pitch. From a solid scrum Tows scrum half Diggery Slee made a good blindside break down the right to score the third Tows try.

The fourth Tows try came from some great running and offloading down the left side of the field, the ball eventually getting to second row Jai Coates who finished the move strongly to score.

Bicester then had another period of possession which they used well and eventually broke the Tows defence to score their only points of the morning.

Tows responded well and with only a couple of minutes of play remaining went through a number of phases to move the ball up the pitch, and then after another strong run and some good decoy support play Ollie Kilgallon scored his second try of the afternoon to make the final score 25-5 to Towcestrians. A good start to 2012.

We then played a second shorter game to ensure that all our squad good some good game-time on the day and scored two good tries, one by Connor Frost and the second by George Butler. However our defend was not as good as in the first game and we conceded three tries, two of which were converted, to eventually lose this game by 19 points to 10.
